Self-managed Super Fund
Super is the nest egg that is meant to see you through retirement. You can switch to a Self-Managed Super Fund, or SMSF, and use money from your Super to fund property investments, which can increase your net worth and allow for a more comfortable retirement.
This form of financing is not fool-proof but we can guide you through the process. First, we need to determine weather a SMSF is right for you. It’s important to begin such an investment at least ten years before you plan on retiring. How much Super you already have saved is another big factor, as it will determine the value of any investment you are able to make.
As with all investments, it’s important to not put all your eggs in one basket. An SMSF can be a great source of income for investors, but it should not be your only income.
